EPG employees successfully complete “Egrab” customer service training

Selected employees of Emirates Post Group (EPG) successfully completed the "Egrab" customer service and postal outlet training programme, designed and developed alongside Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group (ADUKG).

Two groups, totalling 40 employees from across the UAE, completed the 2016 programme, which was created to develop the skills of those working in customer and postal outlets. The training was designed to match international quality standards and best practices, and will help the staff to meet boost EPG's drive to offer continual excellence in customer service.

The programme, conducted through a carefully-designed blend of learning experiences, was led by expert facilitators, based on modules developed by world's leading customer service training body. The blended learning experience included opportunities to practice new skills in role-play and interactive exercises, and challenged participants to consider how their own contribution affects overall customer service.

Chief Support Services Officer of EPG, Mr. Sami Mohamed Al Khaja, said, "We are pleased to say that the Egrab program has been highly successful and very useful for the participants, as they gained enhanced job skills and tips for better customer service. The training program is a commendable effort, which is consistent with the strategy of Emirates Post Group to upgrade service quality to world standards by adopting global best practices."

All of the successful participants were selected through a targeted assessment process - including a review of performance appraisals, candidates' qualifications and experience, and the results of a profiling assessment.

"I would like to congratulate all the successful 'Egrab' participants, who displayed impressive dedication and enthusiasm throughout the training. This programme is another great example of how our company supports major organisations with bespoke, individually-designed programmes that exceed our clients' requirements, and we are very pleased to be doing so while continuing to work alongside EPG into the future," said Dr. Ahmad Badr, Chief Executive Officer of ADUKG.
