Emirates Post hosted a four-day long celebration for 47th UAE National Day

To honour UAE's 47 th National Day, Emirates Post hosted an exciting line-up of events and activities at their offices and branches across the seven Emirates from 25 until 28 November. The festivities brought together Emiratis and expat colleagues across numerous departments as they marked the occasion. In addition, a commemorative stamp featuring the official logo of the celebrations will be released in tribute to the leaders of the nation

During the four-day long celebrations, Emirates Post branches were adorned in the national colours, enjoyed performances from students from various schools, while staff at its headquarters in Dubai put their artistic skills to use by painting a picture of the HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan using their thumb prints. Several locations hosted seminars and workshops, giving staff the opportunity to learn more about the UAE's founding father in a fun and interactive way through games, quizzes and video content. Emirates Post also celebrated with the community at Downtown Boulevard as the festivities drew to a close.

HE Abdulla Mohammad Al Ashram, acting CEO of Emirates Post Group said "National Day is one of the most important days in the UAE calendar and is an opportune time to reaffirm our commitment to our leadership's vision. As a federal organization, we take pride in honouring the UAE and paying homage to Sheikh Zayed's historic unification of the seven emirates. Our events are in keeping with this year's theme, 'This is Zayed. This is UAE.' and celebrate the life and legacy of our founding father, whose vision and dreams laid the foundations for the thriving country we now enjoy."

Addressing the commemorative three-dirham postage stamp, which will be issued on National Day (2 nd December), HE Alashram added: "The stamp is a testament to the progress and prosperity brought by HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to this nation and its citizens. Honouring the tremendous achievements across various fields, including commercial partnerships and political relations with numerous countries, the stamp is a tribute to the leaders and people of the UAE.
